City of New York calls $78.01 million of general obligation bonds

New York, July 24 - The City of New York announced a notice of redemption for its $78.01 million of fiscal 1999 series K general obligation serial bonds.

The redemption date is Aug. 1.

The city said it will redeem the following bonds at 101%:

• $6.1 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2010;

• $6.335 million of 5.625% bonds due Aug. 1, 2013;

• $3.24 million of 5.375% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $6.485 million of 5.625% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014;

• $4.78 million of 5.4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $4.745 million of 5.625% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $2.755 million of 5.4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016; and

• $12.685 million of 5.625% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the fiscal agent.
