Hong Kong's Dah Sing Bank repurchases $70 million perpetual notes

New York, June 22 - Dah Sing Bank Ltd. said it bought back $70 million of its $200 million of perpetual subordinated notes.

The bank repurchased $58 million of the securities and canceled them on June 10 and a further $12 million that were canceled on June 17.

Following the transactions, Dah Sing has $130 million of the notes outstanding.

The issuer is Hong Kong-based financial institution.
