Metropolitan Water District of Southern California defeases series 2001B waterworks bonds

Milwaukee, Dec. 23 - The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California gave notice that it has defeased its waterworks general obligation refunding bonds, 2001 series B.

The bonds mature in the years from 2016 through 2020, inclusive.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed at par on March 1, 2011.
