California redeems $200 million of series 2003 D, 2004 B G.O. bonds

Milwaukee, Oct. 26 - The State of California gave notice that it redeemed a total of $200 million of general obligation bonds.

The bonds were redeemed at par with interest accrued up to the redemption dates.

Specifically, $100 million of variable rate series 2004 B bonds due 2034 were redeemed on Oct. 15, and $100 million of series 2003 D4 bonds due 2033 were redeemed on Oct. 22. The bonds due 2034 included $25 million of series 2004 B1 bonds, $25 million of series 2004 B2 bonds, $25 million of 2004 B3 bonds and $25 million of series 2004 B5 bonds.
