IMAX calls additional $75 million of 9 5/8% senior notes due 2010

Milwaukee, Oct. 2 – IMAX Corp. announced that it will redeem an additional $75 million of its 9 5/8% senior notes due 2010 on Dec. 1.

The notes will be redeemed at par, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

IMAX said that it has already redeemed $55.6 million of its original $160 million notes issuance, following successful equity offerings in June and August. Upon completion of the current redemption, $29.4 million of the notes will remain outstanding.

IMAX is a Toronto-based motion picture technology company and theater operator.
