Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires cancels $25.63 million of notes

Pittsburgh, Oct. 2 - Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires SA has cancelled $25.63 million of its notes due 2014, according to a company news release.

The Buenos Aires bank said the notes were acquired under market conditions.

After the cancellation, $207.61 million of the notes remain outstanding.
