Waste Services begins consent solicitation for 9½% notes

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 26 - Waste Services, Inc. said it began a consent solicitation for its 9½% senior subordinated notes due 2014 in connection with a proposed refinancing of its senior secured credit facilities.

The consent solicitation will expire at 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 6.

Holders who consent will receive a consent payment equal to 0.75% of par per note, according to a company news release.

Consummation of the consent solicitation is subject to the successful refinancing of the credit facilities and the receipt of consents from holders of at least a majority of the notes.

Holders of roughly 70% of the notes have said they will deliver consents, the release stated.
