Primus repurchases $800,000 senior notes, $7 million convertibles

Des Moines, March 17 - Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc. bought back $800,000 of its October 1999 senior notes and $7 million of its step-up convertible subordinated debentures during the first quarter of 2008, according to a 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes were bought at a discount on the open market.
Primus is a Mclean, Va.-based provider of integrated communications services.
