Argentina's Banco Hipotecario cancels $596.7 million long-term notes

Pittsburgh, Dec. 1 - Banco Hipotecario SA cancelled $596.7 million of its long-term dollar-denominated, euro-denominated and guaranteed notes due in 2010 and 2013, according to a company news release.

The company said 65.7% of the notes originally issued have now been cancelled.

Banco Hipotecario is a commercial bank based in Buenos Aires.
