Stone Energy redeems all $225 million senior floating-rate notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 1 - Stone Energy Corp. redeemed all of its $225 million senior floating-rate notes at face value Wednesday, according to a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The redemption price was $225.9 million, which was 100% of the principal amount of the notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest.

The notes were issued on June 28, 2006 and were to have matured on July 15, 2010.

Stone Energy is a Lafayette, La., independent oil and natural gas company.
