Kazkommertsbank starts exchange for 7% notes due 2009

New York, July 10 - Kazkommertsbank announced the start of an exchange offer in which it will issue new notes in a reopening of its 7 7/8% notes due 2014 in exchange for its 7% notes due 2009.

The Almaty, Kazakhstan-based bank said that the offer will end on Aug. 7.

Credit Suisse is the dealer manager.
