Alcatel-Lucent calls Lucent's 8% convertibles

Seattle, March 2 - Alcatel-Lucent will redeem Lucent Technologies, Inc.'s $486.545 million outstanding 8% convertible subordinated debentures due 2031 on March 30, according to a 6-K report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

Alcatel-Lucent is a Paris-based telecommunications equipment, software and services company.
