Japan Airlines noteholders put ¥79.771 billion zero-coupon convertibles

Seattle, Feb. 26 - Japan Airlines Corp. said ¥79.771 billion of its ¥100 billion zero-coupon guaranteed convertible bonds due 2011 were put back to the company.

The put bonds will be redeemed on March 25, and ¥20.229 billion of the bonds will remain outstanding.

Japan Airlines, formerly Japan Airlines System Corp., is the holding company for Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based airline.
