CIE to buy back 8.25%, 8.40% medium-term notes

Pittsburgh, Sept. 22 - Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimiento, SA de CV is offering to buy back up to 4.37 million of its seven-year 8.25% medium-term notes issued March 16, 2000 and up to 1.99 million of its seven-year 8.40% medium-term notes issued April 27, 2000, according to a company news release.

The 8.25% notes will be bought back at a price of 102 Unidades de Inversion per note, and the 8.40% notes at a price of 106 UDIs per note.

Both bonds have a face value of 100 UDIs.

The buyback offer expires Oct. 12, and can be extended up to 90 days.

The company, based in Mexico City, is a live-event producer in Latin America.
