Ashtead to redeem £42 million 12% notes due 2014

New York, Aug. 8 - Ashtead Holdings plc announced the redemption of £42 million of its 12% senior secured second-lien notes due 2014 at 112%.

The company will also pay accrued interest of about £41.33 per £1,000 principal amount up to but not including Sept. 5, the redemption date.

Bank of New York is trustee.

The company originally priced the downsized notes offering on April 8, 2004 at par. The offer was decreased to £120 million from £130 million.
