Saks buys back $21.4 million notes
New York, Nov. 15 - Saks Inc. said it bought back $21.4 million of senior notes during the third quarter, ended Oct. 29.
The repurchases bring the year-to-date total to $607 million.
Total debt at Oct. 29, 2005 was $760 million, down nearly 50% from a year earlier, the Birmingham, Ala., retailer said in a news release. Debt to capitalization was 25.9%.
