SBS Broadcasting brings note buybacks to €16.5 million notes

New York, Nov. 1 - SBS Broadcasting SA said its buybacks during July, August and September totaled €16.5 million of its 12% senior notes due 2008, up from the €11.2 million previously announced.

SBS recorded a loss of €2.7 million on the repurchases.

SBS previously reported on Aug. 31 that it had bought back €11.2 million of the notes.

In May and June 2004, the Luxembourg television operator bought back €14.5 million of the notes.
