Wiser Oil calls 9½% notes

New York, June 30 - Wiser Oil Co. said it will redeem its 9½% senior subordinated notes due 2007 on July 30.

The company will pay 101.583% of par plus accrued interest through the redemption date.

Forest Oil Corp. completed its acquisition of Wiser on June 30.
