Mexico's Grupo Elektra calls 12% notes

New York, March 22, Group Elektra SA de CV said it will redeem its $275 million of outstanding 12% senior notes due 2008 on April 21.

Holders will receive a total of $1,066.67 per $1,000 principal amount.

Funding for the redemption will come from the company's sale of certificados bursatiles, cash on hand and other sources.

Grupoe Elektra is a Mexico City specialty retailer, consumer finance and banking services company.
