Compass Minerals International calls 8% senior notes due 2019 in full

Norfolk, Va., May 23 - Compass Minerals International, Inc. plans to redeem all of its 8% senior notes due 2019, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be redeemed at 104 plus accrued interest on June 23, subject to certain conditions.

The redemption is conditioned on the receipt by the company of enough proceeds to redeem the notes on or prior to the redemption date from one or more new debt financings.

Compass Minerals is an Overland Park, Kan.-based producer and marketer of inorganic mineral products.
