California calls $500 million series 2009B economic recovery bonds

Madison, Wis., May 2 - The State of California gave notice that it will redeem $500 million of its series 2009B economic recovery bonds on July 1.

The following bonds will be redeemed in full at par:

• $50.72 million 2009B-1 bonds due July 1, 2023;

• $39,035,000 2009B-2 bonds due July 1, 2023; and

• $410,245,000 2009B-3 bonds due July 1, 2023.

The Treasurer of the State of California is the trustee.
