By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Jan. 15 - Opera Finance (CMH) plc does not have enough funds to pay interest due on most of its class A notes on Jan. 15, according to a notice from trustee HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Ltd.

Opera Finance will be in default on the notes if the payment is not made within five days. The trustee said the company does not expect to have the funds available to make the payment in that period.

Opera Finance (CMH) is a Dublin-based credit company.
