Linde calls €400 million of Linde Finance undated subordinated bonds

By Tali David

Minneapolis, May 6 - Linde AG called its €400 million of undated subordinated bonds issued by Linde Finance BV, according to a notice.

The bonds will be redeemed at par on July 3.

"Our solid financial position and strong equity base allow us to redeem the subordinated bond on its first call date," executive board member and chief financial officer Georg Denoke said in the notice.

"This decision marks no change in our conservative financing strategy of long-term orientation and safeguarding liquidity. Any future plans for our other outstanding subordinated instruments' call options will be done on a case-by-case basis."

Linde is a gases and engineering company based in Munich.
