National Rural to redeem all 6.1% notes due 2044, 5.95% notes due 2045

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 22 - National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp. announced it will fully redeem its outstanding $88.2 million principal amount of 6.1% subordinated notes due 2044 and its outstanding $98.24 million principal amount of 5.95% subordinated notes due 2045, according to a press release.

Each series will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on May 24.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. will be the redemption agent. U.S. Bank NA will be the paying agent for the redeemed notes.

The market lender for electric cooperatives is based in Dulles, Va.
