Xcel Energy calls $400 million 7.6% junior subordinated notes due 2068

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 15 - Xcel Energy Inc. said it plans to fully redeem its $400 million of 7.6% junior subordinated notes due 2068, according to a press release.

The company plans to redeem the bonds at par plus accrued interest on May 31 with short-term borrowings and excess available cash.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee.

Xcel Energy is an electric and natural gas company based in Minneapolis.
