Washington defeases $753.37 million of various purpose, motor vehicle G.O. bonds

Minneapolis, Feb. 5 - The state of Washington defeased $595.1 million of its various purpose general obligation bonds and $158,265,000 of its motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, according to a news release.

The state defeased the following bonds:

• $55.52 million of various purpose G.O. refunding bonds, series R-2006A, to be redeemed on July 1, 2015;

• $30.9 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2006D, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2016;

• $287.42 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2007A, to be redeemed on July 1, 2016;

• $221.26 million of various purpose G.O. bonds, series 2007C, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2017;

• $34.04 million of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2006E, to be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2016; and

• $124,225,000 of motor vehicle fuel tax G.O. bonds, series 2007B, to be redeemed on July 1, 2016.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.
