Appvion plans to redeem all 9¾% senior notes, 11¼% second-lien notes

Minneapolis, Nov. 19 - Appvion, Inc. called all of its 9¾% senior subordinated notes due 2014 and 11¼% second-lien notes due 2015, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 19.

The company deposited $238.2 million with the trustee for the notes. The amount includes payment of par and accrued interest on the 9¾% notes and 11¼% notes and an estimated make-whole premium payable to the holders of the 11¼% notes.

Appvion is based in Appleton, Wis., and makes thermal, carbonless and security papers and Encapsys products.
