Banco Santander calls Banco Espanol de Credito's €100 million bonds

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 29 - Banco Santander, SA plans to redeem and cancel Banco Espanol de Credito, SA's €100 million public covered bonds on Oct. 31, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds are held by Banco Santander.

Banco Espanol de Credito is majority owned by Banco Santander, a Madrid-based bank.
