Telus to redeem 3.6% series CM notes, 3.2% series CO notes on June 23

Columbus, Ohio, May 22 – Telus Corp. gave notice to redeem all of its C$400 million 3.6% series CM notes due Jan. 26, 2021 (Cusip: 87971MAT0) and C$500 million 3.2% series CO notes due April 5, 2021 (Cusip: 87971MAV5) on June 23, according to a news release on Friday.

Telus announced Thursday that it planned to use the proceeds from a new offering of notes to fund the redemptions, as previously reported.

Telus is a Vancouver, B.C.-based telecommunications company.
