Telus eyes redeeming 3.6% series CM notes and 3.2% series CO notes

Chicago, May 21 – Telus Corp. plans to use the proceeds from a new offering of notes for the redemption of two series of notes, according to a press release.

Telus plans to redeem either all of a portion of the company’s C$400 million 3.6% series CM notes due Jan. 26, 2021 and all or a portion of the C$500 million principal amount outstanding of the 3.2% series CO notes due April 5, 2021 with the new bonds.

Telus is a Vancouver, B.C.-based telecommunications company.
