Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 20 - Gamco Asset Management Inc. said it plans to nominate Clarence A. Davis, Vincent D. Enright and F. Jack Liebau Jr. for election to the board of directors of Telephone & Data Systems Inc. at the company's 2009 annual meeting of shareholders.

Davis, 66, is the chairman of Nestor, Inc.; Enright, 64, is the former senior vice president and chief financial officer of KeySpan Corp.; and Liebau, 45, is the president and founder of Liebau Asset Management Co., according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In a prior SEC filing Gamco said it was also nominating Gary Sugarman for election to Telephone & Data's board. Sugarman is a member of the board of LICT Corp., a company for which Gamco affiliate Mario J. Gabelli serves as chairman.

Gamco beneficially owns 4,905,554 shares, or 9.22%, of the Chicago telecommunications services company.
