Moody’s: Telekom Slovenije to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on the Ba2 corporate family rating, Ba2-PD probability of default rating and Ba2 senior unsecured ratings of Telekom Slovenije dd. to stable from negative.

At the same time, the agency affirmed these ratings, including the ba2 baseline credit assessment.

"We have stabilized the outlook on Telekom Slovenije's ratings to reflect the material improvement in the company's previously weak liquidity position following the successful completion of its refinancing exercise," Ivan Palacios, Moody's lead analyst for Telekom Slovenije, said in a news release.

Telekom Slovenije will repay its short-term debt using the proceeds of both the €300 million syndicated loan facility signed in March 2016 and the €100 million bond recently issued in the domestic market. Near-term refinancing risk is no longer a concern for the company.
