Moody's lowers Telekom Slovenije to Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it downgraded the long-term issuer rating and senior unsecured rating of Telekom Slovenije DD by one notch to Baa2 from Baa1.

The outlook is stable.

"Today's rating action reflects Moody's reassessment of the expected support that Telekom Slovenije might receive from the government of Slovenia, which holds a stake of 74.15% of the country's telecoms operator," Ivan Palacios, a Moody's vice president, senior analyst and lead analyst for Telekom, said in a release.

"In view of the downgrade of Slovenia's sovereign rating, Moody's has reduced the government support uplift on Telekom Slovenije's standalone rating to one notch from two notches."
