Telekom Malaysia starts capped tender offer for debentures due 2025

Chicago, April 18 – Telekom Malaysia Bhd. started a capped tender offer for the company’s $300 million 7 7/8% debentures due 2025 (Cusips: Y8578HAC4, 87942UAC5), according to a memorandum.

The company is offering to buy up to $150 million principal amount of notes.

The tender offer consideration per $1,000 note is $1,068 for early tendering noteholders, inclusive of a $30 early tender premium that will not be paid to noteholders who tender after the early deadline. Noteholders who tender after that will only receive $1,038 per $1,000 note.

Tenders may be prorated.

The early deadline is 5 p.m. ET on May 2.

The offer will expire at 5 p.m. ET on May 16.

Early payment is scheduled for May 9. The final payment date is planned for May 22.
