New York, Feb. 9 - Telefonica Finanzas (Telfim) Mexico SA de CV issued Ps. 6.5 billion of certificados bursatiles in two tranches via an auction on Wednesday.
The company sold Ps. 4.5 billion of 41/2-year certificados bursatiles at 91-day Cetes plus 61 basis points for an initial rate of 7.62%.
The issue is number Telfim 05 in Telefonica Finanzas' certificados bursatiles program.
The second tranche is an offering of Ps. 2 billion of 61/2-year certificados bursatiles, which priced at 8.73%. The issue is number is Telfim 05-2 in Telefonica Finanzas' certificados bursatiles program.
Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer SA de CV was the auction agent for both issues.
Mexico City-based Telfim is a subsidiary of Telefonica de Espana.
