India's Teledata Informatics may issue convertibles

New York, Dec. 29 - Teledata Informatics Ltd. said it may issue convertible bonds.

The company's board has convened a shareholders meeting on Jan. 24 to consider issuance of either Global Depositary Receipts, American Depository Receipts, euro convertible bonds, foreign currency convertible bonds or secured premium notes of up to $75 million.

Shareholders will also be asked to approve 50 million employee stock options and to increase the company's authorized capital to Rs. 1 billion from Rs. 500 million.

Teledata Informatics is a Chennai, India, software company.
