Fitch affirms Telecom Argentina

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Telecom Argentina SA's foreign and local currency issuer default rating at B/RR4 and revised the outlook of the international-scale issuer default ratings to positive from stable.

Fitch added it upgraded the national-scale rating of Telecom Argentina to A(arg) from BBB+(arg) with a stable outlook.

The upgrade in the national-scale and the revision of the outlook to positive in the international-scale reflects the company's improved operating performance, continued pay down of debt and expected overall improvement in the company credit profile.
