Malaysia's Axis REIT launches RM 300 million Islamic MTN program

Madison, Wis., June 20 - Axis Real Estate Investment Trust has established an up to RM 300 million Islamic medium-term note program.

The program was approved by the Securities Commission Malaysia on June 18, according to an announcement by the trust's manager, Axis REIT Managers Bhd.

Axis REIT's wholly owned subsidiary, Axis REIT Sukuk Bhd., will be the issuer for all notes under the program.

The real estate investment trust is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
