Telfim to auction Ps. 1.5 billion 7-year certificados bursatiles Wednesday

New York, Sept. 27 - Tefelonica Finanzas Mexico, SA de CV said it plans to sell Ps. 1.5 million of certificados bursatiles (Aaa.mx/mxAAA) via an auction on Wednesday.

The issue will carry a tenor of seven years with a maturity date of Sept. 12, 2012.

Telefonica, SA will guarantee the issue.

Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa SA de CV, part of Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat is auction agent for the transaction.

Settlement is scheduled for Sept. 30. The issue is the second under Telfim's current certificados bursatiles program.

Tefelonica Finanzas is a unit of Spanish telecommunications company Telefonica.
