Tyco Electronics prepares offering of 10-year senior notes

Tupelo, Miss., Jan. 25 – Tyco Electronics Group SA plans to price an offering of senior notes due 2026, according to a preliminary prospectus supplement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds from the deal will be used for general corporate purposes.

The notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by parent company TE Connectivity Ltd., a Schaffhausen, Switzerland-based maker of connectivity and sensor solutions for use in autos, planes, power grids, appliances, electronics and other products.

Tyco Electronics is a Luxembourg-based company.
