New Issue: India’s Axis Bank sells $50 million tap of 3¼% notes due 2020

New York, Oct. 17 – Axis Bank Ltd. sold a $50 million tap of its 3¼% notes due May 21, 2020, taking the size of that issue to a total of $800 million, according to a news release.

The capital was raised under the GMTN program through its Dubai International Financial Centre branch.

The notes will be consolidated to form a single series with the $250 million of notes issued on March 11, 2105 and the original $500 million 3¼% senior notes due 2020 priced in November 2014.

The bank is based in Mumbai.
