India’s Axis Bank board to consider Rs. 50 billion debenture issuance

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 19 – Axis Bank Ltd. is proposing to issue Rs. 50 billion of unsecured redeemable non-convertible subordinated debentures, according to a Bombay Stock Exchange notice.

The series 3 debentures would have a face value of Rs. 1 million each. The board will consider the issuance by circular resolution.

The bank is based in Mumbai.
