India's Axis Bank plans to issue bonds by first-quarter 2012

Atlanta, Sept. 8 - India's Axis Bank is planning an issue of benchmark-sized global bonds by the end of the first quarter of 2012, a market source said.

No other details were immediately available on Thursday.

Axis Bank is a Mumbai, India-based lender.
