New Issue: India’s Axis Bank sells Rs. 26 billion 6.99% debentures due 2031

Concord, N.H., Dec. 22 – Axis Bank Ltd. notified the Bombay Stock Exchange that its committee of whole-time directors approved an allotment of Rs. 26 billion 6.99% senior debentures due Dec. 31, 2031, according to an announcement on Wednesday.

The series 6 debentures are being issued on a private placement basis.

They will be listed on the wholesale debt market segment of the BSE Ltd. and National Stock Exchange of India.

The bank is based in Mumbai.
