TD Asset Management gives details on new TDAM Core Bond Fund

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., March 12 - TD Asset Management USA Funds Inc. gave details in an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission about its new investment-grade fund, the TDAM Core Bond Fund.

The fund seeks to provide current income and, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in a variety of types of bonds. The fund limits its investments to dollar-denominated securities and currently anticipates that it will only invest in bonds that are rated investment grade at the time of investment.

Glenn Davis and Dennis Woessner are the portfolio managers.

The fund offers institutional class and adviser class shares, which trade under the symbols "TDBFX" and "TDCBX," respectively.

There are no shareholder fees. Including a 0.4% management fee, and taking into account a fee waiver agreement with the adviser, the total annual fund operating expenses are expected to be 0.5% for institutional class shares and 0.75% for adviser class shares.

New York-based TDAM USA Inc. is the fund's investment adviser.
