Tasker raises $600,000 in proposed $4.4 million convertibles offering

New York, Dec. 11 - Tasker Products Corp. pocketed $600,000 in an initial closing of a proposed $4.4 million private placement of convertible notes.

The full terms of the offering could not be determined by press time Monday.

Proceeds from the offering, a bridge financing, will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Based in Danbury, Conn., Tasker develops hygiene technologies used by agricultural and food processing companies.

On Monday, the stock gained a penny to close at $0.24 (OTCBB: TKER).
