Third proxy advisory firm supports re-election of Tandy Brands' board nominees

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 22 - Tandy Brands Accessories, Inc. said that RiskMetrics Group/ISS recommended its stockholders vote for the company's two director nominees, Britt Jenkins and George Lake, on Oct. 30.

According to Tandy Brands, RiskMetrics advised stockholders not to vote for the nominees proposed by dissident stockholder NSL Capital Management.

It was previously reported that two other proxy advisory firms, Glass, Lewis & Co. and Proxy Governance, recommended that Tandy Brands stockholders vote to re-elect the board's two nominees.

It was previously reported that NSL Capital, a 5.27% shareholder, is nominating its affiliates Nick Levis and Evan Kagan for election to the board of the Arlington, Texas, fashion accessories company.
