Moody’s lifts AXA

Moody’s Investors Service said it upgraded AXA SA’s long-term debt ratings by a notch, including its senior unsecured rating to A1 from A2. The agency also revised the outlook to stable from under review concluding the review it started on Feb. 24.

“The rating action follows the transformation of the company into an internal reinsurer and the merger with AXA Global Re, the group's previous internal reinsurer carrier,” Moody’s said in a press release.
