AXA to redeem all $850 million 5.5% perpetuals on Jan. 22

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 4 – AXA SA issued a redemption notice to holders of its $850 million 5.5% undated subordinated notes (ISIN: XS0876682666), according to an announcement Tuesday.

The series 32 tranche 1 notes were issued Jan. 22, 2013 under AXA’s €14 billion euro medium-term note program and will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest, resulting in the payment of an aggregate amount of principal and interest of $205,500 per $200,000 in nominal amount.

BNP Paribas Securities Services, Luxembourg Branch is the principal paying agent.

AXA is a Paris-based insurance company.
