Talvivaara committee member charged with misusing insider information

Bethlehem, Pa., Oct. 20 – Talvivaara Mining Co. plc has learned that insider dealing charges have been brought against a member of its executive committee, according to a Tuesday press release.

The company said the charges have no impact on the business, its financial position or on the employment of the member of the executive committee.

According to the release, the company is not a party to the case.

The case was filed in the Helsinki District Court.

Helsinki-based Talvivaara Mining is a base metals producer with its primary focus on nickel and zinc.
